JoDe Goudy, Chi’Qwax, was born in White Swan, WA.

Goudy is the Secretary of both the Health, Employment, Welfare, Recreation, Youth Activities and Roads, Irrigation, and Land Committees and serves on the following Committees: Radioactive/Hazardous Waste (Member); and Energy (Member).

Goudy is a former Chairman of the Yakama Nation Tribal Council, spiritual leader, and one-time Chief Operating Officer of King Mountain Tobacco.

A champion of Native rights, Goudy has called for removal of the dams on Columbia River and was denied access to the U.S. Supreme Court unless he removed his traditional feathered headdress in 2018.

Goudy is now with Redthought.org, an online educational resource center. His philosophy is simple, “I’m here to do the right thing, as best I can.”
