George Meninick, Sr., Ma-Tu-Yu-Yu, was raised in Toppenish, Washington and has remained a resident his entire life. He served over 25 years at the Wildlife Program.

Now serving his 8th consecutive year on Tribal Council, currently as the Vice-Chairman. He also serves on the following Committees: Executive (Vice-Chairman); Enrollment (Vice-Chairman); Budget and Finance (Vice-Chairman); and Public Relation/Media (Vice-Chairman).

Meninick is committed to protecting Treaty Rights; including land and water, natural resources, and traditional culture. With his time at Wildlife, he worked hard to help our Yakama people gain access to hunting buffaloes at Yellowstone National Park.
